TurboSonic Modes of Operation
An Introduction
The Modes are six different ten-minute symphonies of beneficial vibrations, composed
by Dr. Kim, Ji Jun Grand Master, and President of the Korean Ji Jun Association.
Dr. Kim has designed each mode to move Ji (chi or vital energy) into areas of the body to
stimulate specific organs and muscles and to detoxify the individual cells by activating the
lymphatic system, which flushes them thoroughly.
Auto Mode is the Default Master Tonifier
This is the best mode to begin your TurboSonic experience . It was designed by Dr. Kim to
activate all the cells and organs in the body, awakening them from inertia and stagnation. At
the same time, the lymphatic system is aroused to full function and flushes all the cells, carry-
ing away the byproducts of metabolism, as well as bacteria, viruses, yeasts, molds, parasites
and other toxins through its own independent drainage system.
The pituitary gland is stimulated, releasing Human Growth Hormone which increases as
much as 460%. This in turn causes fat to be mobilized, the skin to thicken, and wrinkles to
smooth away. It also awakens and enhances sexual responses in both men and women.
The pituitary also releases endorphins , which mute pain and discomfort the natural way
while inducing feelings of pleasure, joy and happiness.
Auto Mode is the best all-around program for attaining the benefits of TurboSonic
Vibration Therapy. It is the recommended mode unless you would prefer to focus on slimming
down, losing some weight and getting rid of your cellulite the easy TurboSonic way, in which
case you might wish to explore Modes 1. 2 or 3.
Modes 1, 2 and 3 are for slimming down, shedding weight, and tightening-up .
These modes are designed to mobilize adipose tissue (body fat) so it can more readily pass
into the bloodstream where fatty acid levels rise significantly.
Mode 1
Mode 1 is your introduction to a more vigorous workout . Freshly oxygenated blood, rich in
fatty acids, floods the cells where the fatty acids are converted to heat and vital energy. This
produces an immediately noticeable increase in metabolism, raising the body temperature and
the level of vitality, stamina and mental clarity.
Cellulite begins to melt away, muscles firm up, wrinkles begin to smooth out , and most
users begin to feel lighter, stronger, smarter, sexier, younger and happier. This may sound ex-
travagant, but it seems generally to be true.
Mode 1 is the best mode for an obese person because it doesn’t produce as much stress
on the body as do the higher modes, nor does it require extra effort on the person’s part.
Mode 2
This is a more intense version of Mode 1 and seems to produce optimum slimming down
and tightening up for most people. Users report that the intensity of Mode Two may take a few
sessions to get used to, but the body adapts quickly and it soon becomes quite pleasurable.
For those for whom slimming down is a priority this the recommended mode to stick with.
Mode 2 provides all the benefits of the other modes , but the focus is on slimming down and
tightening up. You’ll notice endorphins and serotonin being released because you’ll find your-
self becoming more relaxed and happier. But, that happens in all the modes.
Mode 3
This is the most intense of the slimming down and tightening up modes , but it doesn’t
seem to produce any faster results. Some people find it too intense. When they ask, we advise
them to use Mode Two. Just because a mode is more intense doesn’t mean it’s better for you
or will accomplish what you want any more quickly. Often, it can be counterproductive.
Modes 4, 5 and 6 are for toning and strengthening the muscles . These are the modes of
choice for those whose priority is maintaining muscle tone and gaining strength and flexibility.
These modes also mobilize fat, melt away cellulite, and release endorphins, just like the oth-
ers.
Mode 4
Mode 4 is the best mode for those who simply want the benefits of a good workout in the
gym. It efficiently works all the muscle groups, improves muscle tone, mobilizes fat, stimulates
the lymphatic system to detoxify all the cells, and oxygenates the blood.
Mode 5
Mode 5 is a significantly more intense version of Mode 4. It is for well-trained, athletic peo-
ple who lead active lives and are used to working out vigorously. It’s not for the newcomer or
faint of heart.
Mode 6
This mode is strictly for heavy duty jocks and jockettes . It is definitely not for us ordinary
people because the increased G force at the frequencies below 10 Hz can produce an accel-
eration of more than 3 Gs. This can put undesired and potentially harmful stresses on the
brains of people weighing less that 150 pounds.
Manual Mode
This Mode enables the user to determine the precise frequency (Hz), intensity and timing
that best suits their purpose.
Women like to use 13 Hz for 3 minutes to tighten and firm-up the muscles of the face and
neck which smoothes out wrinkles and restores a more youthful look.

Meditators like to awaken the spiritual kundalini by sitting or standing for 10 minutes while
the machine is vibrating at 30 Hz. This can bring an experienced meditator into blissful states
within seconds.
In fact, 30 Hz is the preferred frequency for those who are sensitive to vibration, such as
those with fibromyalgia, polymyalgia rheumatica, or those whose bodies are simply very sensi-
tive. The body will be found to adapt to vibration therapy quickly and the sensitivity and pain
will usually quickly decrease.
The elderly can feel comfortable at 30 Hz and enjoy most of the benefits of a good, stimulat-
ing workout in the gym without placing undue stress on the body and without expending a
great deal of energy.
Those with injuries or debilitating joint problems can use 30 Hz to accustom the body to
vibration therapy before moving on to the more active modes as the body heals itself,
To gain access to the higher frequencies in Manual Mode , both knobs should be turned all
the way left. Then press the Frequency button to shift from the low range (6 to 25 Hz) to the
high range (25 to 45 Hz). Then the Frequency knob can be turned up to 30 Hz.
Each push of the Start Button adds a minute of running time, up to 10 minutes, but only
when in the Manual Mode. After the Start Button has been pushed to set the time in minutes,
the right knob can slowly be turned clockwise to increase the intensity to the point of optimum
comfort for the person using it.
The lower range of frequencies (6 to 25 Hz) stimulates the muscles more efficiently and
produces the best training effects, while the higher range produces subtler and more refined
effects.
Myographic studies indicate that 8 Hz stimulates the most muscles simultaneously ,
while other frequencies may favor specific muscle groups and areas of the body.
Manual Mode offers vast opportunities for personal exploration of its effects on areas of
curiosity and interest. By varying the frequency by as little as one Hz it will found to have
